Christmas was a couple of days ago, and this is one of the books I had requested and received. I would not necessarily call myself a charismatic, though I am a firm believer in all the moving of the Holy Spirit and that the ability to speak the very words of God in teaching is not any less “miraculous” than the ability to speak in tongues.
No, what intrigued me most was the “Introvert” part of the title. This is the second book in a row regarding introversion in Christians (the first being Blessed are the Misfits by Brant Hansen–an incredibly splendid read that I highly recommend).
As I read and contemplate these books, I am gaining a clearer picture of the role of introverts in the church and when we need to step out of our comfort zones and when we need to use our natural gifts for the body of Christ.
I have not finished the book yet, so feel free to get a copy and read along and share your thoughts.
